3 Common Mistakes About Applying Face Serum.

3 Common Mistakes About Applying Face Serum.

Billions of people buy expensive face serums every day and guess what, they use it all wrong and waste their valuable money due to a lack of knowledge about skincare.

Today we are going to talk about how you can make the most out of your Face Serums with tips and tricks that will save you a lot of money.

Without wasting any more time let's dive into it!

Mistake#1

Buying a serum which is a dropper/pipette bottle. These bottles allow excess air and bacteria to enter the serum and drastically decrease its effectiveness. Even famous skincare specialists and other influencers often make this mistake. From now on only buy serums that are packaged in an airless pump dispenser bottle.

Here at KalonCare, all of our serums are packed into airless pump dispenser bottles which protect the serum from dirt, bacteria, and sunlight. Giving you results that are effective and fast.

Mistake#2

We know this mistake may trigger you or many other skincare enthusiasts out there but the truth must be spoken!

Do Not Apply Serum On Damp Skin.

There you go, we said it after seeing soo many misconceptions and false videos out there trying to tell you to apply serums on damp skin. You don't need to apply extra water on your face to apply a serum and No your face is not a sponge that will soak the serum better when damp.

Skincare formulations are very carefully formulated to be stable and effective if you apply them on dry skin. But if you apply a concentrated serum on damp skin then you are flushing your money down the toilet as extra water will destabilize and destroy the serum and would give very slow results.

Moral of the story: Apply serum on a dry face

Mistake#3

Many people apply serum like a cream by applying the serum in a circular motion until it is absorbed. If your serum is a clear water-based product then apply your face serum like this:

Take an adequate amount onto the palms of your hands. Gently dab it in without rubbing. Concentrate on the areas where you want the serum to work best like on the dark spots. Allow the serum to get fully absorbed and then follow the rest of the skincare routine.

Avoid these famous mistakes and you'll be glowing more than the regular skincare specialist you pay a visit to;)

Xoxo, Team KalonCare.
